We took a trip to Boston for &THEN, the newly imagined 3 day experience from the Digital Marketing Association. The event was designed to spur new thought, change and put business as the heart of global marketing and innovation communications.
The DMA enlisted the Innovation Loft, leaders in innovative thought and collaboration, to bring a unique and exciting “Innovation Lift” workshop, to this three-day experience where attendees were able to spend time with the digital marketing industries’ most influential creators, innovators, and disruptors.
Our Innovation Lift experience was a highly creative and customizable brainstorming workshop held within the &THEN environment, a purpose-built facility optimized for creative collaboration using principles of Collaboration Environment Construction. Experts at the Innovation Loft provided attendees with free tips and consulting on how to construct such environments and workshops at their own offices. We also invited them to participate in our brainstorming sessions based on Demand Generation topics.
At our Innovation Lift experience, we followed the same guidelines and techniques that the Innovation Loft team uses to help clients such as Avis, Visa, Nutrisystem, Clear Channel, and NBC reach highly novel solutions to challenging problems with maximum team alignment. This was an opportunity to learn the types of gamified ideation techniques that are profiled in the book TeamStorming: How to Lead Ideation Sessions that Generate Breakthrough Results.
